But I've also seen businesses get burned. Paying £3,000+ for a website that looks slick but brings in zero leads. Spending weekends battling Wix only to end up with something that looks homemade.

Software Development Apprenticeship
Began my career in software development while studying ICT Systems at college. Learned the fundamentals of web development including HTML, CSS and database systems.
Promoted to Developer
After completing my apprenticeship I was promoted and began working on real production systems, maintaining databases and building features used by businesses and their members. Worked within Agile teams, led stand-ups as Scrum Master and helped deliver projects while supporting clients and internal teams.
Full Stack PHP Developer
Joined the team behind TeamPoint, a cloud platform used by service engineers and businesses to manage jobs, vehicles, contracts and invoicing. Worked with: Laravel • Vue.js • MySQL • APIs • WordPress
Personal Development & White Collar Boxing
During this time I committed heavily to personal development, focusing on mindset, discipline, and fitness. I stepped into the ring for a white collar boxing event, pushing myself mentally and physically while raising money for charity. At the same time, I supported my mum through a difficult period with her mental health, which taught me resilience, patience and the importance of staying strong for the people around you.

Spent years building and maintaining real-world systems while continuing to develop my skills in modern development tools and frameworks. Focused on creating software that solves real business problems.

Worked rotating 12-hour shifts while continuing to study and build my own projects. This period reinforced discipline, resilience and the ability to keep improving even under pressure.
