An Outdated First Impression
The presentation needed to feel as welcoming and full of personality as the world Lisa had created.
BUILD. CARE. SUPPORT.
From an outdated website to a warm, playful and easier-to-navigate experience — bringing Lisa’s books, bunny characters and storytelling together in one welcoming place.
The warmth was already in the stories.
The website needed to bring it to life.
The Binkyhop Bunnies is built around Lisa’s love of storytelling and her teaching background: a world of memorable bunny characters, children’s books and stories that help families explore everyday experiences together.
The original website didn’t give that world enough room to shine. It felt outdated, lacked useful information and missed the child-friendly warmth at the heart of the books. Finding and exploring the books in the shop also felt harder than it needed to be.
Our focus was to bring it all together: the author, the characters, the stories and a clearer route to discovering a book.
The earlier site introduced the brand, but it needed a clearer structure, more information and a warmer first impression to reflect the books behind it.
The redesign needed to connect a charming children’s brand with the practical information parents need when choosing a book.
The presentation needed to feel as welcoming and full of personality as the world Lisa had created.
The books, characters and purpose behind the stories needed more space and clearer explanations.
Illustrations, colour and storytelling needed to work together to create a more playful, inviting experience.
Visitors needed a clearer way to discover the books, understand each story and move towards a purchase.
The new direction brings the brand’s personality and practical book information into a more coherent journey.
A more welcoming first impression introduces the books and characters together, with a clearer hierarchy for exploring Lisa’s world.
The mobile layout brings the story, book information and next steps into a more readable flow for parents browsing on their phone.
Book discovery becomes part of the experience, with clearer information to help families find a story that feels right for them.
The redesigned journey brings the books forward, pairing the visual appeal of the covers with information about the story, its characters and the themes it explores.
Parents can move from discovering the collection to learning about a book and finding the next shopping step, with the website’s storytelling supporting that journey.
The characters give families another way into the books, connecting an appealing illustration with a story or experience that feels familiar.
Dedicated character content gives the bunnies more presence and invites families to explore the personalities behind the stories.
Friendship, kindness, family and confidence give the collection context, helping parents connect a story with a child’s interests and experiences.
The website now gives the person behind the books a clearer voice.
Lisa’s teaching background helps explain the care and intention behind the stories. Her author section connects that experience with the world of The Binkyhop Bunnies.
Bringing her story into the journey makes the brand feel more personal and gives parents a better understanding of who is writing the books and why.
The learning content gives parents a clearer picture of the ideas behind the books, alongside the enjoyment of reading together.
The redesigned content explains how the stories are intended to support conversations about feelings, imagination and language, with themes families can explore together.
Clear sections for emotional development, vocabulary and reading confidence help communicate the educational purpose of the collection.
This gives visitors useful context when choosing a book and connects Lisa’s teaching experience to the stories themselves.
The result is a more complete presentation of The Binkyhop Bunnies: warmer in tone, richer in information and clearer to explore.
A more welcoming presentation connects the website with the child-friendly personality of the books.
